Two generations, one morning steamer
Silky hand-steamed sheets, house-made pork cakes, chili sauce with just the right bite — steamed fresh each morning, gone by noon.
Three decades, two generations
From the first generation’s steamer to today’s — the same batter, the same enamel plates.
Over 30 years ago, the first steamer went up at 93 Nguyen Cu Trinh. Thin sheets, house-made cakes, regulars who became neighbors.
The second generation took over the batter and the chili-sauce recipe — still steamed each morning, still sold out by noon.

Pork cakes, shrimp cakes, chili sauce — never store-bought
What made Anh Phong’s name: from steamed pork sausage to chili sauce, everything is made in the shop kitchen daily.
Fine-ground pork paste, banana-leaf wrapped, steamed each morning.
The same pork paste, fried golden with crisp edges.
Fresh shrimp in crisp fried batter — the essential side.
Fresh chilies ground by hand, fragrant heat in the shop’s own style — praised by generations of regulars.

The plate that keeps regulars loyal
Anh Phong’s special plate is famous across the neighborhood — full rice rolls with steamed pork sausage, fried pork cake, shrimp cakes, and the house chili sauce. Plenty of people come to District 1 just to eat this one plate.
