Mother’s craft, in two sisters’ hands

Phở Phượng is run by two sisters, cooking to their mother’s recipe. No marketing tricks here — just a pot of broth simmered from bones, exactly as their mother taught.

Guests come for the oxtail phở: the oxtail is the hardest cut of the cow to cook, and the one this shop does best. The Michelin Guide lists the shop under Bib Gourmand — for good food at honest prices.

The Michelin flag hangs right on the 25 Hoang Sa storefront. But what keeps guests coming back is still the bowl: clear broth, tender oxtail, chewy tendon.
