Slow as a phin drip
Phin & Bean begins with the two words in its name: the phin — Vietnam’s drip-brewing filter — and the bean, roasted in-house. Every glass of cà phê sữa đá here follows one ritual: the phin drips, unhurried. And when the last drop falls, a hot brunch plate is already waiting beside it.
Phin & Bean begins with the two words in its name: the phin — Vietnam’s drip filter — and the bean, roasted in-house.
The ritual here is slow: the phin drips, one drop at a time, never rushed. That is how Vietnamese coffee has been drunk in Saigon for generations — and Phin & Bean keeps it intact, adding only a hot brunch plate beside it.
The brand began as a roastery — "Fresh Roast, Artisan Brew" is the promise on the sign: fresh-roasted coffee, artisan brewing. The official "Brunch Menu 08.2025" is shared across the brand, so every listed price is publicly checkable.
The space is a workshop: raw wood, black steel, a blue corrugated wall, rows of brass pendants over a white subway-tile bar. The ground floor holds the long brew bar with its espresso machine and cold-brew towers; upstairs, a glass balcony looks over Đa Kao street — the café’s "favourite corner".
