Entering the grand hall, the first thing you notice is the dark coffered wood ceiling, with brass cage lanterns hanging over every white-clothed round table. Jade-green velvet curtains fall beside marble walls — warm, even light, not a neon tube in sight.
The jade-and-gold room is where the house language is clearest: teal napkins folded into peaks at every cover, green marble pillars, gold lattice screens dividing the hall into semi-private bays, and the blue aquarium wall at the far end. This is Chinese dining done properly — rich without showing off.
The private rooms are quieter: champagne leather chairs, white cloths, and a hand-painted magnolia-and-bird mural on the wall. Two sittings a day — lunch 11:00–14:00 for dim sum, dinner 17:00–22:00 for family banquets — with the restaurant resting in between. That, too, is the rhythm of a serious banquet hall.
Note: the 123 Le Loi branch is permanently closed — this Lotte Hotel Saigon location is the only one operating in HCMC.
