The story

From leaf to table

The boutique tamarind-leaf concept: modern European technique meets traditional Vietnamese spice.

Rooted in the tamarind leaf

Me Ta began with a single image: the tamarind leaf — sour, fragrant, unmistakably Vietnamese — and built a dining room around it. Deep green walls, brass lamps, oak tables: a boutique grove in the middle of District 1.

European technique, Vietnamese spice

Slow braises, precise sears, sauces mounted with butter — classical methods carrying tamarind, lemongrass, galangal, and fish sauce. Fusion as conversation, not collision.

The market sets the menu

Plates follow the morning market; the tamarind leaf closes every dish. Come hungry, leave with the grove in mind.
