Our story

경복궁 — the palace name

Kyung Bok Gung (경복궁) is named for Gyeongbokgung, Seoul's royal palace — and the room keeps that promise. This is a Korean-owned independent restaurant at 52 Hai Ba Trung, District 1, loved by Korean regulars for its quiet private rooms.

Step through the gate into a miniature palace courtyard: the backlit 경복궁 sign crowned with palace roof tiles, stacked onggi jars, a stone lantern, a black calligraphy wall. No noisy hall — every table is its own private room with a service bell.

Meat grills over real charcoal — the venue's own menu says “nướng trên than hồng” — under round steel exhaust hoods. Staff grill for you; generous banchan in brass bowls, refilled endlessly.

This is Kyung Bok Gung's only location — an independent restaurant, no branches.
