One lantern, one grill, one belief
Uraetei — the kanji 浦亭, known as Phổ Đình — is a long-running Japanese yakiniku system at 69-71 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1, glowing behind wooden lattice and paper-lantern light. The story below only covers what the venue declares and its own photos.
A yakiniku house named Uraetei
Uraetei Yakiniku at 69-71 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1 — also known to Saigon diners as Phổ Đình (Pho Dinh), one branch of a long-running yakiniku system across HCMC, Biên Hòa, Đà Nẵng and beyond.
The sauce decides the meat
The house says it plainly on its own website: “In Uraetei, marinated sauce is one of the most important elements that decide the tasty of BBQ meat.” Beef goes two ways — salt & pepper to heighten the natural flavor, or the Uraetei marinated sauce for something more savoury.
Smokeless grills, cozy rooms
Every table carries a smokeless roaster — the house's promise is that you leave without the BBQ smell on your clothes. The setting is “a private and cozy” room for family and friends; the menu also runs hot pot, fried dishes and lunch sets.
Open daily, mid-range
Google Maps lists 11:00–21:30 daily at the moderate price level (2). No per-dish prices are verifiable — ask the shop for exact prices.
