HANOI CORNER.
Hanoian bún chả, phở gà, fried nem and egg coffee — down the small alley at 18B/17 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, District 1.

Hanoi Corner — Hanoian bún chả, District 1
An owner-run neighborhood spot where Ms Ly — a Hanoi native — cooks and serves herself. No-MSG traditional recipes from her childhood, charcoal-grilled pork shoulder, and phở gà broth sweetened with dried sa sùng.
The signature plates
Three dishes from the venue's own photos: bún chả, the two-person bún chả spread, and egg coffee. Phở gà and fried nem are on too — ask Ms Ly what's on today.

Bún chả Hà Nội
Charcoal-grilled pork patties and pork belly in sweet-sour fish-sauce broth with green papaya, served with vermicelli, fresh herbs, lime and chili — plus a plate of crisp fried nem.

Bún chả for two
Two bowls of golden broth, charred-edged pork patties, vermicelli and herbs — the proper Hanoi way: dip each bite.

Egg coffee
Rich egg coffee dusted with cocoa, served on the wooden table beside the venue's own booklet.
Open every day
9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week — exactly the hours published on Google Maps.
The Hanoi-yellow room
Yellow walls, woven rattan pendant lamps, bamboo blinds and tuồng masks on the brick — an owner-posted photo from Google Maps.

Around the venue
The framed-dish wall, rattan lamps and the egg coffee — all real photos from the venue's Google Maps page.
