One end — the room
TA designed the room herself with no professional plan — 'a bit like painting a picture'. Crystal chandeliers, candlelight, vintage mirrors and exposed brick are the result.
44E Pasteur · District 1
A room founder TA designed herself, named for Duke Ellington — crystal chandeliers, jazz on the speakers, and forgotten classics poured like they never left.
A standard
A standard in jazz is the tune everyone knows, played each band's own way. Ellington works the same way: a classic room — chandeliers, exposed brick, vintage mirrors — and behind the bar, forgotten classic cocktails played again.

TA designed the room herself with no professional plan — 'a bit like painting a picture'. Crystal chandeliers, candlelight, vintage mirrors and exposed brick are the result.
The drinks program goes back to names that fell off menus everywhere: Pink Squirrel, French Connection — made properly, without apology.
Three frames to open
Crystal chandeliers, the whisky shelves, and a garnished coupe — how a night at Ellington opens.
The room's light comes from crystal chandeliers and candles — the jazz-age register the Ellington name promises.
Whisky lines the back bar, with a growing Macallan selection the house pride.
A coupe finished down to its garnish — the classics here are served with their ceremony intact.
