The cuckoo's nest journal
A house of wood through and through — cuckoo clocks, the giant pencil, a quiet loft and unplugged music every evening from 8 PM.
A nest of wood
The whole space is clad in wood: wooden ceiling, walls, floor, furniture. A few books, a guitar leaning against the wall — and the smell of wood that brings back childhood. Wherever you sit you smell the wood; wherever you touch you feel the grain.
The quiet loft
Climb up to the mezzanine — the café's quietest corner. By day it's for reading, hot tea and mellow music drifting by in peace: no rush, no worries. Pick a spot overlooking the tiny stage and wait for the night.
The cuckoo clocks
Cuckoo clocks hang all over the wooden walls, ticking evenly — tic-tac, tic-tac. Among them stands the giant wooden pencil, the oddest ornament on Tú Xương street. Time here doesn't follow the city's clock; it follows the tick of wood.
The 8 PM unplugged night
Every night from 8 PM: raw vocals with no microphone, acoustic guitar, violin — 100% unplugged. Foreign classics like Yesterday, Donna Donna, Comme Toi alongside Trịnh Công Sơn, Phạm Duy and Từ Công Phụng. The owner opens with a story and a riddle, answered at night's end — like an evening among friends. White candles flicker on every table.

Easy to miss, hard to forget
Ride down Tú Xương and, if you don't look closely, you'll never spot the place. But the owner hunted down every glass and cup in Bình Dương and the outskirts' glass kilns, found décor fabrics across the cloth markets and ordered from abroad — hard to find anywhere else. Step in once, remember forever.
