Cooku's nest cafe

THE CUCKOO'S NEST · SINCE THE OLD DAYS100% UNPLUGGED · NO MICROPHONES

The old attic time forgot

An old attic of wood and ticking clocks — where time slows down.

Cuckoo clocks tick on the wooden walls. A giant wooden pencil. A few books, a guitar leaning against the wall — and the smell of wood that brings childhood back.

Entry Nº 01 — the nest journal

The wooden loft that keeps you

Two field notes from the nest journal — why this little wooden house is unlike anywhere else.

NOTE 01

Ride down Tú Xương street and, if you don't look closely, you'll never spot Cooku's Nest. But step inside and the whole wooden space holds you — gentle, warm, reminding you of childhood days.

The owner went hunting for every glass and cup in Bình Dương and the outskirts' glass kilns; décor fabrics were found across cloth markets and ordered from abroad — hard to find anywhere else.

Easy to miss from the street; impossible to forget once inside. Every cup was hunted down in Bình Dương kilns, every fabric in cloth markets — nothing here exists anywhere else.
NOTE 02

Climb to the mezzanine and pick a spot looking down at the tiny stage. Mondays are quiet — around 8 PM the singer starts. The owner opens with a story and a riddle, answered at the end of the night.

It all feels like a conversation among friends: close, familiar. Guests happily sit cross-legged on the floor before the stage.

From the mezzanine you look down on the tiny stage. The owner opens with a story and a riddle, answered at night's end — like an evening among friends.
Entry Nº 02 — a day in the nest

From white morning sun to night candles

The nest's daily rhythm — one slow day's round.

8:30 AM — MORNING

Doors open, sun slants through the wood

The place is cool and bathed in soft white. Windows half-light — set apart from the noisy streets. Read, work, take your time together.

AFTERNOON — THE LOFT

Hot tea & a page

The loft is the café's quietest corner: sip hot tea, listen to mellow tunes. An afternoon that passes in peace — no rush, no worries.

8:00 PM — MUSIC NIGHT

Candles lit, the music goes unplugged

White candles flicker on every table. Raw vocals with no microphone, acoustic guitar, violin — Yesterday, Donna Donna, Comme Toi, plus Trịnh Công Sơn, Phạm Duy, Từ Công Phụng. Surcharge 90.000₫/person.

10:00 PM — CLOSING

The nest sleeps

The music night ends, the cuckoo clock keeps ticking. Tomorrow the doors open again at 8:30 — the nest is never in a hurry.
