Anrakutei — the Japanese yakiniku house established in 1963. Sixty years on, the fire is still exactly where it belongs: the round mesh grill at the center of the table, marbled beef sizzling over glowing binchotan.

Everything orbits the fire

Not the facade, not the lobby — Anrakutei’s anchor is the grill set into every table. Inside: warm wood, spacious box seats, and the red wall carrying the white 安楽亭 characters.
