It's at 1 Trương Định, right in Bến Thành — weathered green double doors, a big red LINH serif, yellow hand-lettered script that says "Tiệm cà phê Linh Sài Gòn 1975." You cannot miss it. The brand has two voices and they're both loud: the elegant maroon serif on the cups, and the hand-painted sign — yellow script, red serif, orange "1975." Classic and loud at once.

The drink is the salted coffee — 65k, and it has EIGHTY-TWO review mentions. Eighty-two! People cross the city for this. It's salty-sweet-creamy in the way that sounds weird until it hits your tongue and then you understand everything. I got it iced, obviously — the photos show it in glass cups next to the maroon Linh paper cup — and then I got the tiramisu (110k) because the balcony daylight was perfect and I have no self-control. The tiramisu comes dusted with cocoa on a wooden ledge with foliage behind it. Worth it.

The counter does the old-Saigon refreshment-stall thing — hand-painted "Giải Khát" wood sign, shelves of glass Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottles, a grinder, staff in motion. And the phin row: SIX phin filters dripping at once, preserved-fruit jars and bottle shelves behind. No machine theatrics. Just the classic drip, times six. This is how Linh brews.

Upstairs is the 1975 corner: acoustic guitar, CRT TV, vinyl sleeves, glass jars. The "Sài Gòn 1975" promise made physical — every corner is a photo. After dark, the sidewalk is the scene: crowds on low red stools under the big tree, warm streetlight glow. Open till 2 AM, this sidewalk is the evening living room of the neighborhood.

They also do craft beer, which I did not expect from a nostalgia café but deeply respect. The September 2026 menu board has 38 items with exact prices and "Thank you so much!" at the foot. Nothing is precious. Everything is honest.

Go at night. Get the salted coffee. Sit on a red stool under the tree and watch Bến Thành do its thing until way too late. This is the move. This is always the move.
