Story

A drinks library by the river

Phan Van Dat is the small street running down to the river just behind the Mac Thi Buoi wine-bar row. Whiskey Lane took the ground floor of 15–17 and did what the street didn't have: a bar whose whisky collection is the architecture.

Chapter 01

The street behind the wine row

Mac Thi Buoi has long been District 1's wine-bar row; Phan Van Dat turns off it in a few steps. Whiskey Lane stands at ground floor 15–17 — close enough for after dinner, distinct enough to be a destination of its own.

Chapter 02

The room Noor Design built

The interior is by Noor Design, under David Hodkinson: dark wood, leather, veined marble and light kept low — everything yields the stage to the lit cabinets of bottles.

Chapter 03

Shelves, and music nights

The bar's days belong to the shelves; on select nights of the week the room adds live music. Those two tempos — quiet tasting and band nights — keep Whiskey Lane open daily from 16:00 to 02:00.
