The "Coffee Vancee" sign is braided strand by strand and beaded bead by bead — look closely to see the care. The café opened in 2012, tucked into alley 473/4/12 Tô Hiến Thành, and nearly everything decorating it was made by hand.

Self-built wooden tables and chairs, walls pasted with newspapers and magazines, a never-ending manga shelf, hand-stitched teddies, and a whole board-game collection — Uno, Jenga, horse-race chess, chess — for evenings in no hurry to end.

For over a decade the café has been a Saigon teens' meeting place — dates, study groups, friend hangouts. Warm yellow lamps, student prices, and a place that always feels like home.

Newspaper walls

Walls pasted in layers of newspaper and magazine — reading the walls is like reading the café's diary since 2012.

The manga shelf

A towering manga shelf — sit on the floor and read all afternoon. Part of the café's soul.

The old acoustic nights

In its early years the café hosted acoustic nights — guitars under the warm yellow lamps live on in many people's memories.
