Story

The timber nest on the 12th floor

The Nest sits on the 12th floor of The Myst Đồng Khởi hotel, 6–8 Hồ Huấn Nghiệp, District 1. Inside is a soaring timber-vaulted dining hall — a wooden canopy curved like the inside of a bird's nest, hundreds of globe lights suspended overhead, tall glass frames opening onto the city lights and the distant Saigon River.

The Vietnamese kitchen serves all day: by day a buffet of fresh salads, dim sum, cheeses and familiar Vietnamese plates; by night the candles come out and the kitchen turns to fine dining, plates finished like small artworks. At 4.9★ from 131 Google reviews, The Nest is one of District 1's most loved dining rooms.
