THE BEAN-PICKY OWNER
AT THE END OF THE ALLEY

The glowing sign
White ONAP glowing on black, the diagonal slash through the A — it’s why the kiosk reads from the end of the alley, the brand’s one iconic mark.
Chasing "note xô bồ"
The owner cups roasted beans in gloved hands, dries coffee cherries right in Saigon, and says they’re chasing "note xô bồ": the buttery notes in the cup. The espresso bar runs Arabica Cầu Đất; Vietnamese coffee runs on robusta — đen đá, sữa đá, bạc xỉu, and the salt coffee that reviews praise the most.

Serious coffee cred
In Oct 2023, onap hosted the "Perfecting Italian Coffee" workshop for ELLE Decoration — an alley kiosk with serious coffee cred. Pink Guava and Pineapple kombucha brewed in house, glass jars lined up right behind the black-tile counter.
The hip-hop crowd
The crowd here is young, dressed streetwear, the music is good — "phong cách hiphop chất lừ lừ". Busiest around 9–10 AM. Hungry? There’s hot bánh mì chảo: eggs, sausage, pâté, cheese, crispy baguette for dipping.
