Story
One roof, two worlds
Trên Tầng Thượng opened in 2023 — a tropical garden on a rooftop, where a wooden stilt-house, a greenhouse and a lotus pond share the sky with a cocktail bar.
The wooden gate to the upper floor
You step through the rustic wooden gate and follow the gravel path through pampas grass — leaving the noisy city behind. This is the ascent ritual: the deeper you walk, the quieter it gets.
Day and night
By day, this is brunch under the leaves — sunlight through louvered windows, the pastry case fragrant. When the sun sets, string lights and lanterns ignite and the grill fires up: the same address, a different world.
The cattail badge
The logo is an arched badge: serif TRÊN TẦNG THƯỢNG lettering cradling cattail reeds, ESTD. 2023, and the line CAFÉ · BRUNCH & COCKTAIL BAR. White on burgundy red — the color of the menu boards and the paper cup in your hand.
Stilt-house, greenhouse, lotus pond
The space is a charming patchwork: a traditional tiled-roof wooden stilt-house, a glowing glass-roofed greenhouse at dusk, and a lily-pad lotus pond along the wooden walkway. Weathered wooden tables, mismatched vintage chairs.
The rooftop people
In the evening, this place belongs to young couples and groups of friends — lively long tables, oil lamps flickering on every table, the bartender in motion behind the bar. Quiet mornings for brunch, buzzing nights for good times.
