Chapter 01
Its own room upstairs
Nhau Nhau is not a corner of the restaurant below — it is its own venue on the second floor, with a retro room, its own counter and its own crowd. Dinner, Anan-style, is downstairs; for nhậu, head up.
The story
One address, 89 Ton That Dam, holds two venues: Anan at street level, and Nhau Nhau — Peter Cuong Franklin's bar — upstairs, with its own listing and its own personality.

Chapter 02
Peter Cuong Franklin built his name renewing Vietnamese food without losing its roots. At Nhau Nhau he takes phở — the most iconic dish — and asks: what would a bar built around it look like?

Chapter 03
At Nhau Nhau the food is not a side note to the drinks: they arrive together, at the same counter. It is how Saigon has always nhậu'd — and part of why the bar is listed on 50 Best Discovery.
