The name says it all: “Mì Gia Truyền Tự Chế” — noodles made by the family. The glowing green night sign even carries the three characters 传统面: traditional noodles. This is an old-style Chinese noodle house, where the egg noodles and the broth are the two things that can never be rushed.
Inside is a bright cream room: red paper lanterns across the ceiling, marble-pattern tables, wooden chairs. On every table, the steel tray of chili sauce, soy sauce, and chili garlic — the opening ritual of every bowl: season it your way before the first bite.
The shop opens two sittings a day — morning 7:00–14:00, afternoon 16:00–22:00 — closing for a midday break in between. Regulars are Xuan Hoa office workers, weekend families, and anyone craving a proper Chinese-style herbal duck noodle bowl in the heart of District 3.
The shop is women-owned — a detail many diners mention fondly.
