Story

From Osaka, with noise

Manmaru means 'perfectly round' — and from Osaka, the brand rolled 60+ izakaya across Japan before landing on Mạc Đĩnh Chi. This is its Saigon chapter.

The brand's own words: Manmaru runs more than 60 restaurants in Japan, and the Saigon house at 71 Mạc Đĩnh Chi is its first in Vietnam. The founder is from Osaka, and he built the house in his own image — affordable Japanese food, served at Osaka volume.

Downstairs is the izakaya floor: loud, bright, built for the after-work crowd — the shout of 'Irasshaimase!' when you walk in, beer flowing, sashimi boats landing on every table. Upstairs the house turns traditional: private rooms for entertaining and quiet dinners, a zen garden in between.

The motto on the wall is 'Smiles' and 'Passion' — wholehearted food at affordable prices, wholehearted hospitality, open every day from 11:00 till midnight. Come loud, leave happy.
