Local Saigon Cafe sits in a narrow shophouse on Thủ Khoa Huân street, steps from Bến Thành Market's North Gate. The ground floor greets you with a warm wooden counter, a pastry display case and the barber-shop mirrors on distressed plaster — the signature detail every regular remembers.
The red neon “saigon cafe” script glows over a wall plastered with old-Saigon postcards — the shop's most-photographed corner. Black pendants and small Vietnamese flags sway overhead.
Upstairs opens into a bright dining hall with black-and-white checkered tiles, a wooden bar and ceiling fans; beyond it a lantern-hung terrace looks straight out to the Bến Thành Market roof and Bitexco tower.
