The story

One apartment, one long bar

Layla never tried to be District 1's loudest room — just the one where a long night happens most naturally.

The barstool run along the long bar

Chapter 01

The 11-metre bar

On the 2nd floor of the colonial apartment at 63 Dong Du, Layla built an 11-metre bar — the longest in Saigon. Not to set a record, but because a good bar never keeps anyone waiting. Eleven metres of timber and marble, barstools in a row, and the whole room revolving around one counter.

The bottle wall and neon glow

Chapter 02

The bottle wall

Behind the bar stands the bottle wall — warm light on hundreds of bottles, and a neon sign reminding you that you're in the right place. It's Layla's most photographed corner, but it's best the first time you see it in person, cocktail in hand.

The bar as the night settles in

Chapter 03

Happy-hour energy

At 4 PM, the doors open. Office workers stop in for one, friends gather around the bar, and the colonial apartment shifts from daylight into the warm glow of night. Layla never needed to advertise happy hour — it just arrives, every day.
