The board that glows till 9 PM
KUP Café — a student café in the To Hien Thanh alley, where the menu is a hand-lettered neon LED board.
This LED board is the menu. 32 items, nothing over 25k.
Walk into KUP and the first thing you see isn't a paper menu — it's a hand-lettered LED board glowing on the wall: black coffee 12k, milk tea 14k, avocado smoothie 25k. The board glows till the 21:00 close, and the prices on it are the real prices — student prices, nothing over 25k.
The space is a student world: the boardgame wall and the red bookshelf, borrow free, engraved wooden number blocks instead of plastic tags, a student-priced snack chalkboard, and a Fender guitar case leaning in the corner. Guests run the bluetooth speaker themselves — the café's playlist is whoever's sitting here's playlist.
KUP is an unpretentious kind of café: cheap drinks, comfortable seats, games and books always ready. You don't need a reason to come — just a free afternoon and 25k in your pocket covers the priciest thing on the board.
