Story

American-Chinese,in the middle of Saigon.

Kung Fu Wok brought Saigon something the city doesn't have much of: American-Chinese — sweet, crispy, generous, proper takeout style.

It started at 128 Ly Tu Trong with the unmistakable black-and-gold sign — AMERICAN STYLE CHINESE FOOD — and quickly became the hangout for anyone craving American-Chinese: sweet-glazed General Tso's, soft lo mein, crackling egg rolls.

The shop has since moved to 217B Pham Viet Chanh, sharing the space with La Fiesta — wok fire on one side, Tex-Mex on the other. Two worlds, one address.

The formula never changed: hot pan, big fire, fast plates. Nothing fancy, nothing fussy — just heaping noodle plates and the sizzle of the wok.

Sweet, crispy, generous — proper takeout.
