Turn into the alley
Turn off Ngo Thoi Nhiem into the small alley. Trees on both sides close into a green vault, motorbikes roll through, low wooden tables sit right under the canopy. The shop isn't in sight yet — but you know it's close.

The iron gate and red lanterns
A few more steps and the white wrought-iron gate with its scrollwork appears, red paper lanterns hanging above. Beside it the blue-gray facade, the maroon shutters flung open, the green bench with mustard balusters.

The hand-painted sign
Then the sign appears: a maroon board, a green top strip, cream hand-painted "Tiệm Cà phê CƯ XÁ 30", a film strip on the left, a yellow address line. No logo, no LED — the sign is the brand; seen once, remembered.

The wooden doors, flung open
The two maroon wooden door leaves stand wide open, beside them the small white plate reading "30/1F". Step over the terracotta threshold onto the yellow-flowered gạch bông floor — the clack of sandals tells you you've arrived.

Step inside, sit down
A small room, yellow walls, brass standing fans still humming, the blue display cabinet, old photos on the walls. The tabby cats cross like they own the place. In the corner a small aquarium glows purple beside old "100" film canisters — nobody explains it, and nobody needs to.

Come find the right spot.
