The CƯ XÁ story — a tea-cake-coffee counter in Cu xa Bac Hai
A green oasis inside the housing block — Da Lat in the heart of Saigon.
CƯ XÁ — tea, cake and coffee sits in a Huong Giang alley inside the old Cu xa Bac Hai housing block. The facade is wrapped in vines and monstera, blue wooden shutters open onto the lane, and the service window carries the hand-painted words “trà bánh cà phê” — passersby can't help a second look.
Inside is the open bar with its white “ORDER HERE” sign, wooden stools, black ceiling beams, round bulb lights, a cactus mural and wooden shelves of jars. The back patio has a bamboo fence, a vine pergola, red brick herringbone floor, camping chairs, a canvas umbrella and string lights — two seating areas, indoors and out.
Across the alley is Ca Xứ — CƯ XÁ's sister shop. Two shops, one alley, the whole neighborhood knows your face. People come to work, to chat, to take photos — and stay for the alley's very own chill.
