HCMC's board-game pioneer
Open since 2013 — one of Saigon's first board-game cafés, where a whole generation learned to play Werewolf.
Every night is game night — and it has been since 2013.
Cashflow opened in 2013, when board games were still a novelty in Saigon. A decade-plus on, it's still the first name that comes up when friends say "let's play board games" — Werewolf, Uno, Exploding Kittens, Catan, and Kiyosaki's Cashflow, the game the café is named after.
Three floors, six spaces, split into two worlds: the loud play zone with long wooden tables, the sunset-panda mural and low-hanging warm lamps; and upstairs, Darwin's House — white brick, low tables, warm light, the door asking you to tread light and keep quiet. Drinks are the side show here: 50% off refills while you play, because game time is the product.
The café's centerpiece is the game-box wall — 209 titles, any of them rentable on its own for 20k a box. And on the wall, the hand-drawn D20 graffiti reading "CASH FLOW": a reminder that this game, like every game, is about how you play it.
