Saigon souvenirs

In one corner stands a glass cabinet of souvenirs — a rare sight in a coffee shop. Visitors climbing to the 5th floor come for the egg coffee and salt coffee, and leave with a piece of Saigon.

The shop's name is a call: "Sài Gòn ơi" — hey, Saigon. The menu plays with that very call: SaiGon Cafe sữa đá Anh ơi, Em ơi, and Trời ơi. Every drink is a Saigon way of calling out.

To get here, climb to the 5th floor of 42 Nguyen Hue — the famous cafe-apartment block on the walking street. There's a spiral staircase inside the shop, and the "Saigon Ơi" neon script lights the facade at night.

Woven rattan, trailing leaves — a pocket Saigon on the 5th floor.
