Steamed buns atmidnight in Saigon

The Nguyen Thai Hoc branch — where Taiwanese street food meets Hong Kong cinema.

Baozi opened its Nguyen Thai Hoc branch with a simple idea: great steamed buns and roast duck, in a room that makes you want to linger. Black corrugated ceiling, dark wood tables, red paper lanterns overhead — plus an In the Mood for Love poster on the wall.

The menu runs from steamed buns and Taiwanese beef noodles to whole lacquered roast duck — plus milk tea, the drink reviewers mention most. Open till 1 AM, a rarity in the area.

Steamed buns & roast duck — like a Hong Kong film still.
