Story
The family bakery since 1989

Hồng Hoa began as a family bánh mì bakery in 1989 — baking airy-crumbed loaves every day while supplying wholesale to shops across District 1. The small counter on Nguyễn Văn Tráng is where locals come for a hot loaf from the family's own ovens.
While the famous tourist-queue bánh mì shops draw long lines, Hồng Hoa is the Saigonese choice: a loaf packed with fresh herbs — cucumber, cilantro, fried shallots — balanced, light, never heavy.
35 years of the craft, a fixed shophouse, the family doing the work themselves — the yellow signboard with red letters on the street is the promise of a bakery that never changed.
