First half: dinner
The bar serves a full dinner menu alongside the cocktails — five-flavour Vietnamese thinking applied to Western plates, as The Dot Magazine recorded. Arrive early, sit down at a table, and let the night start slow.
39 Ly Tu Trong · Ben Nghe · District 1
Dinner starts at the table and ends on the small dance floor under the disco ball — one room, two evenings in a single night.
The room — two halves of one night
A Good Bar calls itself not a wine bar and not quite a club — just a good night, together. The first half of the night is dinner and cocktails at the table; in the second half the lights dim, the DJ turns it up and the room gets to its feet.

As the night goes on the room's lights dim, the DJ takes position under the disco ball and a small floor opens for dancing — dinner slides into a party without changing venues.
Three frames to open
The wooden door with its lit sign, the counter in black and white and the DJ corner under its neon line — how a night at A Good Bar opens.
A wooden door with two round windows and a small lit box sign above it — how you spot A Good Bar on the first floor at 39 Ly Tu Trong.
A long counter with the bottle shelves behind it and bartenders working right in front of the guests — the room's centre from dinner to late.
A lounge corner with red seats and a neon line borrowed from a disco classic — where the room reminds itself that tonight there is music.
