About the spot

A broken-rice cart at the mouth of alley 96 Vo Thi Sau, Tan Dinh, District 1 — the front yard of the owner's three-generation family home, with a charcoal rib grill, plastic stools along the alley, and big umbrellas. Open Mon–Sat from 6am, usually sold out by 8:00–8:30, hence the nickname: the rice spot for "successful people" ("wake up early to succeed"). Price band 37k–57k per the cart's current board (Saigon Dining Guide, 2025). Closed Sundays.
