Look, I'll be blunt: The Daily Coffee has a 3.9 rating on 717 reviews, and you can feel exactly why the moment you walk in. The chairs are hard. The music is whatever's on. Nobody's coming to refill your water. And yet — and this is the part that matters — at 2 AM on a Tuesday, there is nowhere else in District 10 where you can sit with a laptop, a dead phone, and a deadline, and be left completely alone.

The brand says it outright on its own Facebook bio: "Cà phê tổ kén mở 23/7 · Không phụ thu theo giờ." Cocoon café, open 23 of 24 hours, never a per-hour surcharge. That's not marketing fluff, that's the entire business model. Exposed brick, a mezzanine of "tổ kén" sleeping pods — actual little cocoon boxes you can curl into — walls of books, long communal wood tables full of open laptops, and rattan lamps that don't go out until 6 AM. Every photo of this place shows people working, reading, or sleeping. It's a café that runs on other people's deadlines.

The Daily Coffee
It's not a café that happens to stay open late. It's a 23-hour work bunker that happens to serve coffee.

The pricing is honest in the way I respect: three tiers, 54 / 64 / 74, VAT included, plus 10k if you want thạch. One review complained a 25k item actually costs 45k, and you know what — check the wall board before you order, it's photographed and posted. The "Khởi đầu yêu 24h" banner over the wheel-pendant lights is doing more emotional work than the coffee is.

Good to know

42 Trần Minh Quyền, P. Vườn Lài, Q10. Open 7:00–6:00, every single day — 23 hours. No per-hour surcharge, ever.

Who is this for? Students in exam season. Freelancers with 4 AM deliverables. Couples fighting at midnight who need neutral ground and WiFi. Who is it NOT for? Anyone who wants good coffee — the drinks are fine, that's it. Anyone who wants atmosphere — the atmosphere is fluorescent-adjacent. Anyone who wants to be seen.

Would I go back? Yes, at 1 AM, with a charger and a bad mood. That's not a contradiction. Some places earn your loyalty by being excellent. This one earns it by being open. In this city, at that hour, that's rarer than a good flat white.
