OKAY. I need to talk about the macaron board at BBang House because it is, without exaggeration, the most dangerous wall in District 10.

You walk in and there it is — a big board with ALL 8 flavors, each with its own cross-section photo, like a lineup of tiny colorful suspects: Chanh, Vani, Dâu, Việt quất, Socola, Oreo, Matcha, Cà phê. 30k each. I stood there way too long doing mental math. My brain said "pick two." My heart said "that's a lineup, you finish lineups." I got five. FIVE. No regrets. The cà phê one tastes like actual coffee, not coffee-flavored air, and the chanh has that sour sparkle that wakes your whole face up.

BBang House

"bbang" (빵) means bread in Korean, and the place wears it proudly — the interlaced double-B monogram is stamped on everything: cup stickers, price cards, macaron watermarks, gift-box lids. It's a Korean-style fresh bakery café on Sư Vạn Hạnh, all warm cream daylight, white display shelves stacked with croissants and baguettes, rattan baskets, brown branded price cards. Everything 20–49k, which in this economy feels like a group hug.

I also got the Olong Milktea (35k) because the cup said "for you" in handwritten script and honestly? Manipulative. Effective. Delicious. The tea is smooth, not too sweet, the kind you keep sipping after it's gone.

Fresh bread, honest prices, and a macaron lineup you cannot resist. This is the treasure chest at the end of my market-wander route now.

The bakery case is the real treasure hunt: croissants, baguettes, all baked fresh daily — bánh làm tại chỗ tươi mỗi ngày, and you can taste that it's true. The 4.1 stars from 220 reviews feel low to me, but then again I wrote my review with crumbs on my keyboard, so maybe I'm biased.

Good to know

551 Sư Vạn Hạnh, Hòa Hưng, Q10. Open 7:00–21:00 daily. Macarons 30k each, everything 20–49k.

Go hungry. Leave with a gift box. Thank me later.
